Entretien, maintenance et longévité

  • Upholstery

Care instructions vary depending on the selected upholstery. Vacuum regularly using a soft brush attachment to remove dust and prevent dirt from working into the fibers. For spills, act quickly — blot liquids with an absorbent cloth before they set. Stains should be removed by gently dabbing with a lint-free cloth or sponge dampened with clean, warm water. If necessary, add a small amount of mild dish soap, then finish by dabbing with clean water. Avoid rubbing, as this may damage the textile surface. For wool textiles, professional dry cleaning is recommended for anything beyond surface stains. For detailed care instructions by upholstery type, refer to the Humanscale Care Guide.

  • Frame, Base & Components

Clean metal and plastic components with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap if needed. Dry thoroughly.

The Path task chair earns high marks for its minimal ecological impact. It's also just a comfortable chair, with Humanscale's ergonomic reclining mechanism on the back and a smoothly supportive cylinder beneath the seat.

Path adapts to both conscious decisions to sit up or sit back while also capable of adapting to the numerous minute unconscious adjustments we make to our posture throughout the day.

Designed By Todd Bracher

Todd Bracher is an industrial designer, strategic advisor, and author whose practice spans disciplines, industries, and cultures. Over a 25-year career, he has brought more than 200 products to market for leading global brands including Herman Miller, Humanscale, Georg Jensen, Fritz Hansen, Issey Miyake, and 3M—earning recognition as a three-time International Designer of the Year. Bracher is the founder of Design in Context, a methodology built on the principle that form follows function, function follows context. By placing business objectives, human needs, and contemporary culture at the center of the design process, the framework produces solutions that are quietly effective, deeply considered, and built to endure. After a decade working across Copenhagen, Milan, Paris, and London, Bracher returned to his native New York, where he is based in Brooklyn.
