Care, Maintenance & Longevity

  • Upholstery

Care instructions vary depending on the selected upholstery. Vacuum regularly using a soft brush attachment to remove dust and prevent dirt from working into the fibers. For spills, act quickly — blot liquids with an absorbent cloth before they set. Stains should be removed by gently dabbing with a lint-free cloth or sponge dampened with clean, warm water. If necessary, add a small amount of mild dish soap, then finish by dabbing with clean water. Avoid rubbing, as this may damage the textile surface. For wool textiles, professional dry cleaning is recommended for anything beyond surface stains. For detailed care instructions by upholstery type, refer to the Humanscale Care Guide.

  • Frame, Base & Components

Clean metal and plastic components with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap if needed. Dry thoroughly.

The Path task chair earns high marks for its minimal ecological impact. It's also just a comfortable chair, with Humanscale's ergonomic reclining mechanism on the back and a smoothly supportive cylinder beneath the seat.

Path adapts to both conscious decisions to sit up or sit back while also capable of adapting to the numerous minute unconscious adjustments we make to our posture throughout the day.

    Pretty good stool

Pretty good stool. Could use a bit more cushion on the seat, but the back support is excellent.

Using this at my drafting table

Using this at my drafting table. Very sturdy, the mesh back is breathable, and the foot ring really helps when sitting for hours.

    Didn't think I'd like

I didn’t think I’d like a stool as much as a regular chair, but this Path stool surprised me. Comfortable, supportive, and looks really modern.
